...for my husband.

...my doctor, and how much she knows (and cares!) about me and my family.

...my parents' generosity and the upcoming trip to Ohio.

...campy movies that were honored enough to become MST3K movies.

Today I'm thankful for...

...the fact that even though I banged it up, it appears I didn't break my toe.  Nor did I blister the soles of my feet the other day.  It's dangerous to be at the ends of my legs, apparently, so minor injuries are much better than major ones. :)

Today I'm thankful for...

...my bizarre friends.

Hey, look! A post in before midnight, so it's dated for the proper day!  Wow!

Today I'm thankful for...

...other peoples' children. They remind me how truly awesome my kid is, even when he's driving me up a tree.  He's a pretty good kid.

Today I'm thankful for...

...air conditioning.  And hot baths.

Today I'm thankful for...

...The Great Muppet Caper.

Today I'm thankful for...

...time spent with my son, looking at silly, weird, creepy, funny, and amazing pictures.  Way past his bedtime, but it was fun!

Today I'm thankful for...

...overcast, cool weather that makes it nice to be outside.  No rain, just lovely clouds.

Today, I'm thankful for...

...the fact that it was not as hot today, and got overcast and even rained a little.  It was nice not to be cooked, being indoors.

Gratitude

I very much like this song, and I love his voice singing it.  It embodies what I'm trying to do, in making a point of finding something to be thankful for every day.  Times may be rough, but there is always something to be thankful for.  I'm making an attempt to show gratitude for at least one thing every single day, even (and maybe especially) on the days where I don't feel all that thankful at all. 

So, world, thanks a lot, for all I've got.
